Cookie Policy

What are cookies and comparable technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable storage technologies — local storage and session storage — which work in a similar way.
Legal basis
Setting cookies and accessing information on your device is governed by Art. 82 of French law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended (Loi Informatique et Libertés), which transposes the ePrivacy Directive, together with the CNIL’s (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) guidelines and recommendation on cookies and other trackers. Strictly necessary cookies may be set without prior consent; for every other category we obtain your consent first (Art. 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés, together with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use exactly two categories — there is no “Marketing” category, because we don’t use any such tool.
Category 1 — Essential (always active, cannot be switched off)
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pmc-consent-v2 | Stores your cookie choices so we don’t ask again on every visit | Profit Maker Copywriting SAS (first party, local storage) | until you delete it, or this policy is updated |
pmc-cart-v1 | Stores your cart contents across page loads and language switches | Profit Maker Copywriting SAS (first party, local storage) | until you delete it or complete your order |
pmc-checkout-v1 | Stores your progress through checkout (never payment data) | Profit Maker Copywriting SAS (first party, session storage) | ends when you close the browser tab |
pmc-last-order | Holds your completed order summary so the confirmation page can display it | Profit Maker Copywriting SAS (first party, session storage) | ends when you close the browser tab |
Category 2 — Analytics / “Mesure d’audience” (off by default, only with your consent)
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes website visitors for statistical analysis | Google Ireland Limited | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Stores session state for Google Analytics 4 | Google Ireland Limited | 2 years |
These cookies are set only after you switch on the “Analytics” category in the consent banner or in Cookie settings. See section 8 of our Privacy Policy for how Google Analytics 4 processes this data.
Managing or withdrawing consent
The “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page reopens the preferences window at any time, shows your current choice, and lets you change or withdraw it. Withdrawal takes effect going forward; it does not retroactively delete analytics data already collected. You can also delete or block cookies at any time via your browser settings; this may affect some site functions (e.g. the cart). In line with CNIL guidance, if you decline non-essential cookies we will not ask again for at least 6 months.
Changes to this policy
If the cookies or services we use change, we update this page and the version marker on your stored consent, so you’re asked again.
